The official worldgen Datapack for Exosphere 2 and Exosphere 2 + Create!
Exosphere Worldgen adds sky island overworld generation and tweaks further vanilla features to create a unique but balanced experience. Inspired by Apothicon’s "Stratospherical Expansion," it recreates that distinctive world noise and modifies foliage decoration, structure placement, ore generation, and loot tables to refine your survival playthrough on sky islands.
Each part of the world looks like the perfect place for your next base!
Are you in need of prismarine, corals, or other ocean-related items and blocks? Explore the river biome mud ponds for kelp, sea pickles, and shipwrecks with a customized loot table containing all ocean-related loot. Even aspects like fishing have been tweaked to no longer require large open water bodies in a world without oceans.
Requirements
- NeoForge modloader is required for certain foliage decorations
- GlobalPacks or a similar mod is required to load Datapack automatically
Incompatibilites
- Lithostitched, probably due to my datapack using NeoForge’s native biome modifiers, causing odd stuff
- Other mods/datapacks that modify vanilla biomes and or features, sometimes a mod like Feature Recycler might help
Usage and distribution
- Feel free to use the datapack in your own modpacks using CurseForges default distribution by using a mod like GlobalPacks
